Salvador Ramos (born October 20, 1990) is a Dominican professional baseball second baseman for the Philadelphia Blue Jays of the North American Baseball Association. A star hitter, he's won the AVG, SLG, and OPS titles two years in a row. In 2017, Ramos won the hitter's triple crown, hitting .363 with 46 home runs and 140 RBIs. Despite this tremendous achievement, Ramos finished 2nd in MVP voting to St. Louis Archers slugger Allen Alford, a decision in which was met with uproar from most of the baseball community, with some accusing the Hall-of-Fame voting committee of racism.
