Ruben Johan Toledo (born November 25, 1983) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Columbus Explorers of the North American Baseball Association. Originally a closer, Toledo began his freshman season finishing games, a job he occasionally shared with setup men Mike Wallace and Jaden Pryor. He racked up 18 saves before starting three games in September, and was added to the rotation permanently in May of 2014. Toledo is known to be offensively sound relative to the ordinary pitcher, with a career .324 average in 241 at-bats, and 14 career home runs. He hit a walk-off home run off the Pittsburgh Shearman on June 23, 2013, becoming the first relief pitcher to hit a walk-off home run in the history of the NABA. He would homer against the Shearmen again later in his career, with his first career grand slam on September 12, 2017.
