The Queens Bees are an American professional baseball franchise based in New York City, New York, specifically in the Queens borough. They are in the North American Baseball Association's Continental League, though were in the American League from 1892 to 1932. The Bees are one of the six founding teams, having been established in 1884 as the Boston Bees. Their establishment marks the first page in the Boston Winter, a phrase used to explain the NABA's unfair or stern-lipped treatment of Boston and its teams. The team launched many dynasties, mostly in the league's early history, though have won championships from as recently as the 2000s.
