Mike Anderson (born May 15, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Blue Jays of the North American Baseball Association. The 12th overall prospect in 2017, Anderson was the Blue Jays top pitching prospect until he began play after the All-Star game, pitching a decent rookie season. He is known for his incredible movement, which one scout called "the best zip [he] had ever seen on a baseball, ever, period." Anderson struck out 64 players in his 17 career starts for the 2017 Blue Jays. ESPN jokingly called him the 'Bluest eyed rookie in baseball" in their November 2017 issue, on which he appeared the cover.
