John Lovelass (born December 11, 1986) is a Canadian-American professional baseball pitcher for the Portland Loggers of the North American Baseball Association. A 2x Cory Lancaster Award winner and 4x All-Star, Lovelass has played for Portland his entire career, since being drafted in 2005, out of Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He quickly became a front-of-the-rotation starter for Portland, in 2013 posting a 1.86 ERA and leading the league in strikeouts. Lovelass was a key component of the Loggers' 2015 American Grand Finals championship team.
