Daniel Sanchez (born February 15, 1979) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Sidewinders of the North American Baseball Association. Drafted in 1998, he has previously played for the Vancouver Canadians, the Philadelphia Blue Jays, the Portland Loggers, the San Francisco Union, the Atlanta Kings, and the Chicago Wind Sox. A veteran reliever, he's played over 900 games in the NABA, and was part of the 2009 American Grand Finals winning Philadelphia Blue Jays team.
On December 27, 2016, Sanchez signed a 2-year deal with the Arizona Sidewinders, his hometown team, with which he became their closer. He posted a 5.17 ERA with 41 saves in 81 games.
